“A place to relax” — Floating 30

The Sports Boat certified as CE Category C Floating 30 is a motor catamaran and can be ordered with a gasoline-powered 40 HP outboard or, optionally, two 4 kW Torqeedo electric motors. It combines the charm of a houseboat with technical refinement and subtleties in modern design. With its comfortable furnishings, it meets the requirements of a beautiful holiday home and offers space for an exceptional maritime family holiday with great independence from the location. It is designed Floating 30 as a permanent Berth and, with appropriate equipment, is suitable for comfortable water hiking on protected waters. The Pontoon allows a maximum of 15 people on board as a still-bed in port and 8 people on board, which also makes convivial dinners and gatherings possible.

With 30 square meters of living space and with an air heat pump or optional recirculating air diesel heating system, you can live generously even on cool days. However, it is much nicer to enjoy sun, wind and water on the 7-square-meter terrace on the bow or the 14-square-meter terrace on the upper deck (optional). They have a full bathroom with toilet, washbasin and shower, if you want a fully equipped kitchenette and everything else you need for a nice day and night on the water. Depending on the selected technology package, autonomous use at sea is also possible. The Two or Three Enclosed Interiors and Two Terraces (roof terrace optional) offer sufficient retreat options, especially when used by several people on board, to recharge your batteries in peace and enjoy the sun and water.

Construction description

The Boat Hull consists of two sturdy floats with seawater-resistant aluminum crossbars. The swimming platform is designed for non-sliding ice pressure of up to 20 cm and requires very little maintenance.

Pontoon boat body

Depending on the Berth/Travel Area, the Hulls are equipped with suitable sacrificial anodes. Each float is divided into 3 watertight compartments by welded bulkheads.

The floats have a reinforced keel throughout, so that you can also drive to the shore without damaging the floats. Buoyancy at Draft 400 mm approx. 12.0 t, freeboard approx. 570 mm. When used in seawater: The float is made of waterproof marine aluminum (AlMg 4.5 Mn), material thicknesses 6/5/4 mm. The maximum load capacity of the floating house is limited to 15 people when firmly located in the harbor. When driving, CE category C for 8 people and for CE category D for 10 people. The roof terrace may be occupied by a maximum of 10 people.

Deck-building terraces

At the front and rear, there is a terrace area of approx. 8.7 m2 and 4.4 m2. A substructure, made of impregnated larch wood, forms the basic framework for deck construction on the aluminum pontoon.

The deck covering of the terrace areas and the Schrammboard is standard with larch planks and is bolted to the substructure with weather-resistant stainless steel screws (optional bench railings). The terrace on the upper deck (optional) is lined with larch hardwood segment panels. Among European conifers, Larch is the heaviest and hardest wood with a high base density. Accordingly to other types of wood, larch wood is very strong, has high toughness and low shrinkage behavior. It is very weather-resistant and, especially under water, comparable in durability to oak wood.

Railing and cleats

On the front deck (bow) of Floating 30, a modern railing made of round aluminum tubing completes the bow. Accessible openings in the railing make it easy to put on and take off. A stainless steel chain with snap hooks serves as protection while driving. The platform at the rear is also secured by an appropriate railing. A total of 6 cleats are used to secure the floating 30 with mooring lines to the jetty and dolphins.

The basis for the roof elements made of SIP panels (Structural Insulated Panel) is a frame structure. The upper deck can be used as a sun terrace on the back half of the boat cabin as an option. The SIP boards are fully coated on the top with galvanized trapezoidal sheet metal.

The roof, which projects towards the bow, is accessible for maintenance or cleaning work and is designed for a maximum load of one person. The roof panel is painted in accordance with the façade design. At the aft, lowered end of the roof, there are rainwater spouts with downpipes.

The underside of the front roof overhang is covered with white profiles. There are two built-in spotlights installed.

Based on this, the floor area of the floating pontoon is followed by the so-called floor plate of the cabin compartment. The floor is constructed from SIP elements (Structural Insulated Panel). These structural boards consist of a 10 mm OSB (oriented strand board) board on the inside and a 10 mm OSB board on the outside. Both boards are force-bonded with a 130 mm EPS (polystyrene) insulation layer with a thermal conductivity value of 0.035 W/m2K and thus form a very windproof and torsion-resistant construction (U-value 0.282 W/m2K). In addition, a waterproof EPDM (ethylene propylene diene rubber) film is laid between the pontoon and the base plate to protect the building structure from the ingress of splashing/moisture.

The cabin consists of a timber frame structure, consisting of timber frame clad with external OSB boards, internal insulation and interior cladding made of ready-to-paint furniture boards or OSB boards.

Windows & doors

Only double-insulated aluminum flat profile windows and doors in color are integrated into the cabin construction surrounding the room side. A revolving door with 3-point lock provides rear access to the sleeping area. The bedroom and bathroom are fitted with a tilt-and-turn window.

A two-part fixed window element and an additional tilt-and-turn wing window are inserted on the long sides of the living and dining areas. The window front to the foredeck consists of fixed glazing elements on the sides and two central sliding door wings with 5-point closure. In general, all window and door elements are constructed with thermal insulation glazing with a UV value of 1.1 W/m2K. Insect screens are installed as standard in the bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens. If you wish, an additional insect screen can be installed in the living area for the sliding door elements. For interior doors, surface-finished door leaves with tubular chip inlay in white lacquer (matt), including aluminum handle set, are available. Painted steel door linings in RAL 9010 pure white are used as standard.

All door panels are fitted with lockers for the more rocking days at sea. The door leaves are permanently installed at a height of approx. 2.5 cm for forced ventilation.

The windows are also delivered in matching RAL 7016 anthracite grey. All colors of the Formica outer material are coordinated so that several different colors of Oating 30 still create an architectural unity. This means that there is the right shade for every taste and is definitely an eye-catcher for all viewers. When allocating Berths in larger facilities, the choice of colors is partly dictated by the architect.

Design & color selection

The outer walls are filled and painted on the inside in accordance with the client's RAL option.

You can choose the floor in 3 different colors:

The ceilings consist of stylish white HDM ceiling panels with a ceiling trim that is visibly riveted at the edge. The walls in the bathroom area are coated with moisture-resistant PVC wallpaper and all joints are sealed against splashing water and moisture with a silicone sealant. The interior walls are also painted with washable latex paint according to the client's RAL choice.

You can choose the design of the interior walls in 3 different color options:

Wood-effect vinyl covering is applied to the entire running surface in the rooms. The Hardwood Skirting Channel Surrounding the Window Elements is selected to match the color of the anthracite window frames.

Kitchen equipment & color selection (optional)

The kitchen unit consists of a standard HPL (high pressure laminate) kitchen block with 3 base cabinets, a wall cabinet, a stylish kitchen worktop with integrated sink and an exclusive single-lever mixer mixer. The Hob with Two Burners Integrated into the Worktop offers you plenty of options to prepare your meals. A refrigerator with two storage compartments provides enough space for your groceries. A dishwasher is integrated into the kitchen block.

LED spots on the underfloor of the wall cabinets provide appropriate lighting in the kitchen work area and thus give you an optimal field of vision for your activities.

You can design the kitchen according to your wishes, we offer you many different options for configuring the kitchen. You can choose from 3 fronts, 3 worktops and 3 back panels

Lights

That Floating 30 is equipped with dimmable built-in ceiling LED spots and electric dimmers. The terraces at the front and rear are illuminated by built-in spotlights, and you can also order dimmable LEDs for outside, which are installed on the underside of the cantilever roof at the bow. On the terrace on the upper deck, we offer you two LED lamps and two power outlets as an option.

electrical installation

The entire electrical installation is carried out in accordance with DIN VDE 0100 regulations. There are generally electrical components from the product ranges of recognized manufacturers on the Floating 30 installed. Electrical energy is supplied landside to the jetty via a flexible supply cable via two 16 A, 230 V connections in the house connection cabinet installed on board. The 2 x 230 V version is recommended for moving boats, as not all marinas have power connections.

The electrical installation starts from the meter cabinet with the necessary circuit breakers. A piece of main potential equalization system in accordance with legal requirements, consisting of the grounding connections for electrical systems and the potential equalization rail. If an air/air heat pump is selected as an option, a parking space with all necessary electrical and hydraulic connections is prepared in the rear area of the floating 30. When choosing a drive package, a 12V /230V inverter can also be installed in combination with a large battery bank.

Heating system and hot water production

The rooms are heated with a multi-split air heat pump with 2 interior units; a diesel-powered convection heating system can be selected as an option. The bathroom is heated by an electrically heated towel rail. Optionally, the model of the multisplit air heat pump can be selected in this way. This means that the boat is always kept automatically at the correct temperature. Each room is controlled by a handheld transmitter, which can be individually programmed and adjusted to your needs. The airflow in the room can also be individually adjusted. The outdoor unit of the air heat pump is located under the stairs. Hot water is supplied by an electrically heated 80 L hot water boiler installed in the technical room.

fresh water supply

The Floating 30 is supplied from land via a fresh water connection, which is housed in the Pontoon. Appropriate couplings are fitted for the hose connection between the water intake point at the Berth and the Catamaran. Optionally, the Floating 30 can be equipped with an internal 120 l tank with an appropriate pressure pump. This is integrated into the fresh water system by means of a three-way valve and an emptying option.

The power supply is ensured via the access walkway. The entire house is connected to the power grid via a plug connection/shore power connection.

The Construction of a Jetty from the Shore Area to the Floating Pontoon, Rights of Use for the Berth, etc. are not the subject of the contractor's contractual obligation to provide services and are therefore not included in the price. The connection of the Pontoon varies and depends on the conditions in the marina and is determined on a case-by-case basis. Floating docks are connected via Ropes and Bollards on the Pontoon. This is subject to separate coordination and regulation between the parties in order to be able to take account of local conditions.

Plumbing & equipment

The hot/cold drinking water pipes are made of composite metal pipes with appropriate insulation. Waste water pipes are constructed from HT Pipes. that Floating 30 has a flexible fresh water connection that is protected from frost in water and must be provided on site. A water meter for recording consumption is available as standard.

In the kitchen (optional), a dishwasher connection (hot and cold water) and a dishwasher connection with the necessary shut-off valves are set up. A hot and cold water connection is installed in each bathroom. The bathroom has the following equipment: a washbasin with single-lever mixer and mirror, a toilet with seat, a shower tray 80 cm x 80 cm, a shower enclosure made of single-pane safety glass with shower thermostat and a washbasin with single-lever mixer, mirror with mirror shelf.

Wastewater disposal is carried out via a Floating 30 permanently installed 215 l waste tank with suction port. This can be pumped out or emptied via a fixed connection with a lift. A Jung Compli 400 Sewage Lifting Plant is being installed, which is subject to annual maintenance services. At the client's request, a connection to the public sewage network will be established following the official application.

The infrastructure outside the house is not the subject of the contractor's contractual obligation to provide services and is therefore not included in the price. The costs are calculated on a location-specific basis.

Motorization

The motor configuration you require is included. The desired type of use, the driving area and your Berth determine the motorization. You can order a Floating 30 Basic with a gasoline-powered 40 HP outboard or, as an option, two 4 kW Torqeedo electric motors. We would be happy to discuss the options with you. The 40 hp engine has proved its worth. This allows you to reach a comfortable speed of 10 km/h and good manoeuvrability. In conjunction with a bow and, if required, a star thruster, you are ready for relaxed water hiking. You can do that Floating Order as a still bed even without an engine package and equip it yourself with the necessary components. If you're with your Floating 30 Basic if you do not want to travel, your Berth must be approved for this.

Pre-equip the drive package, we will set it up Floating 30 Basic with the structurally necessary principles for motorization. We install the following components at the factory, which can only be retrofitted later with considerable effort: motor holder (choose electric or petrol), headlights pre-equipment, driving position with hydraulic preparation (empty tube under the cabin from bow to engine), bow thruster shaft in the pontoon.

Deliver an engine package, we will equip your Floating Ready to drive with various engines of your choice. A test drive will take place upon handover. The driving package consists of the following components: petrol-powered 40 hp outboard, 75 kgf bow rudder with 130 Ah AGM battery, cabling, 120 liter gas tank. DualDocker

The DualDocker is a new innovative mooring system for houseboats & yachts. The DualDocker creates optimal conditions in wind and waves and allows the floating house to lie quietly on the jetty. The placement system was designed, tested and constantly developed based on physical principles.

Can I ride my Floating 30?

The Floating 30 is intended for inland areas (category D). Optionally, the Floating 30 can be equipped for coastal travel (Category C). You need a sports boat license (possibly without a driver's license for the electric version) to drive the Foating 30. In any case, a minimum crew of 2 people (>16 years) is required!

What is the process of buying a Floating 30?

The Floating 30 are designed for seasonal use, but can also be used in the winter season if some requirements are met. The building services system is kept frost-free via electricity, so that an uninterrupted power supply must be ensured at the winter Berth. In addition, the marine's own media connections must be installed frost-free. Please also note that the walkways must be accessible. The Pontoon can freeze in ice, but must be secured against drift ice in the marina. Regular inspection of your floating 30 during the winter season is therefore essential, so you can spend relaxing days on board even during the winter months.

How much does a Berth cost for a Floating 30?

What is the media supply like?

These structural boards consist of a 10 mm OSB (oriented strand board) board on the inside and a 10 mm OSB board on the outside. Both boards are force-bonded with a 130 mm EPS (polystyrene) insulation layer with a thermal conductivity value of 0.035 W/m2K and thus form a very windproof and torsion-resistant construction (U-value 0.282 W/m2K). In addition, a waterproof EPDM (ethylene propylene diene rubber) film is laid between the pontoon and the base plate to protect the building structure from the ingress of splashing/moisture.

The cabin consists of a timber frame structure, consisting of timber frame clad with external OSB boards, internal insulation and interior cladding made of ready-to-paint furniture boards or OSB boards.

Windows & doors

Only double-insulated aluminum flat profile windows and doors in color are integrated into the cabin construction surrounding the room side. A revolving door with 3-point lock provides rear access to the sleeping area. The bedroom and bathroom are fitted with a tilt-and-turn window.

A two-part fixed window element and an additional tilt-and-turn wing window are inserted on the long sides of the living and dining areas. The window front to the foredeck consists of fixed glazing elements on the sides and two central sliding door wings with 5-point closure. In general, all window and door elements are constructed with thermal insulation glazing with a UV value of 1.1 W/m2K. Insect screens are installed as standard in the bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens. If you wish, an additional insect screen can be installed in the living area for the sliding door elements. For interior doors, surface-finished door leaves with tubular chip inlay in white lacquer (matt), including aluminum handle set, are available. Painted steel door linings in RAL 9010 pure white are used as standard.

All door panels are fitted with lockers for the more rocking days at sea. The door leaves are permanently installed at a height of approx. 2.5 cm for forced ventilation.

The façade can be selected in 5 different colors:

The windows are also delivered in matching RAL 7016 anthracite grey. All colors of the Formica outer material are coordinated so that several different colors of Oating 30 still create an architectural unity. This means that there is the right shade for every taste and is definitely an eye-catcher for all viewers. When allocating Berths in larger facilities, the choice of colors is partly dictated by the architect.

Design & color selection

The outer walls are filled and painted on the inside in accordance with the client's RAL option.

You can choose the floor in 3 different colors:

The ceilings consist of stylish white HDM ceiling panels with a ceiling trim that is visibly riveted at the edge. The walls in the bathroom area are coated with moisture-resistant PVC wallpaper and all joints are sealed against splashing water and moisture with a silicone sealant. The interior walls are also painted with washable latex paint according to the client's RAL choice.

You can choose the design of the interior walls in 3 different color options:

• Light yellow
• Gray blue

Wood-effect vinyl covering is applied to the entire running surface in the rooms. The Hardwood Skirting Channel Surrounding the Window Elements is selected to match the color of the anthracite window frames.

Kitchen equipment & color selection (optional)

The kitchen unit consists of a standard HPL (high pressure laminate) kitchen block with 3 base cabinets, a wall cabinet, a stylish kitchen worktop with integrated sink and an exclusive single-lever mixer mixer. The Hob with Two Burners Integrated into the Worktop offers you plenty of options to prepare your meals. A refrigerator with two storage compartments provides enough space for your groceries. A dishwasher is integrated into the kitchen block.

LED spots on the underfloor of the wall cabinets provide appropriate lighting in the kitchen work area and thus give you an optimal field of vision for your activities.

You can design the kitchen according to your wishes, we offer you many different options for configuring the kitchen. You can choose from 3 fronts, 3 worktops and 3 back panels

Lights

The floating 30 is equipped with dimmable built-in ceiling LED spots and electric dimmers. The terraces at the front and rear are illuminated by built-in spotlights, and you can also order dimmable LEDs for outside, which are installed on the underside of the cantilever roof at the bow. On the terrace on the upper deck, we offer you two LED lamps and two power outlets as an option.

electrical installation

The entire electrical installation is carried out in accordance with DIN VDE 0100 regulations. Electrical components from the product ranges of recognized manufacturers are generally installed on the floating 30. Electrical energy is supplied landside to the jetty via a flexible supply cable via two 16 A, 230 V connections in the house connection cabinet installed on board. The 2 x 230 V version is recommended for moving boats, as not all marinas have power connections.

The electrical installation starts from the meter cabinet with the necessary circuit breakers. A piece of main potential equalization system in accordance with legal requirements, consisting of the grounding connections for electrical systems and the potential equalization rail. A piece of meter cabinet with meter space, including mounting rail, connecting parts and the necessary safety components. The distribution in the meter cabinet consists of 1 main circuit breaker (SH switch), 3 RCD switches (FI) 30 mA, 8 load protection switches (LS switch) 16 A and a

7000 W standard isolating transformer or, alternatively, 2 x 3600 W equipped. The complete electrical connection of all building equipment, including accessories, is guaranteed. If an air/air heat pump is selected as an option, a parking space with all necessary electrical and hydraulic connections is prepared in the rear area of the floating 30. When choosing a drive package, a 12V /230V inverter can also be installed in combination with a large battery bank.

Heating System and Hot Water Production

The rooms are heated with a multi-split air heat pump with 2 interior units; a diesel-powered convection heating system can be selected as an option. The bathroom is heated by an electrically heated towel rail. Optionally, the model of the multisplit air heat pump can be selected in this way. This means that the boat is always kept automatically at the correct temperature. Each room is controlled by a handheld transmitter, which can be individually programmed and adjusted to your needs. The airflow in the room can also be individually adjusted. The outdoor unit of the air heat pump is located under the stairs. Hot water is supplied by an electrically heated 80 L hot water boiler installed in the technical room.

fresh water supply

The Floating 30 is supplied from land via a fresh water connection, which is housed in the Pontoon. Appropriate couplings are fitted for the hose connection between the water intake point at the Berth and the Catamaran. Optionally, the Floating 30 can be equipped with an internal 120 l tank with an appropriate pressure pump. This is integrated into the fresh water system by means of a three-way valve and an emptying option.

The power supply is ensured via the access walkway. The entire house is connected to the power grid via a plug connection/shore power connection.

The Construction of a Jetty from the Shore Area to the Floating Pontoon, Rights of Use for the Berth, etc. are not the subject of the contractor's contractual obligation to provide services and are therefore not included in the price. The connection of the Pontoon varies and depends on the conditions in the marina and is determined on a case-by-case basis. Floating docks are connected via Ropes and Bollards on the Pontoon. This is subject to separate coordination and regulation between the parties in order to be able to take account of local conditions.

Plumbing & equipment

The hot/cold drinking water pipes are made of composite metal pipes with appropriate insulation. Waste water pipes are constructed from HT pipes. The Floating 30 has a flexible fresh water connection that is protected from frost in water and must be provided on site. A water meter for recording consumption is available as standard.

In the kitchen (optional), a dishwasher connection (hot and cold water) and a dishwasher connection with the necessary shut-off valves are set up. A hot and cold water connection is installed in each bathroom. The bathroom has the following equipment: a washbasin with single-lever mixer and mirror, a toilet with seat, a shower tray 80 cm x 80 cm, a shower enclosure made of single-pane safety glass with shower thermostat and a washbasin with single-lever mixer, mirror with mirror shelf.

Wastewater disposal is carried out via a 215 l waste tank with suction port, which is permanently installed in the floating 30. This can be pumped out or emptied via a fixed connection with a lift. A Jung Compli 400 Wastewater Lifting Plant is being installed, which is subject to annual maintenance services. At the client's request, a connection to the public sewage network will be established following the official application.

The infrastructure outside the house is not the subject of the contractor's contractual obligation to provide services and is therefore not included in the price. The costs are calculated on a location-specific basis.

The safety equipment varies depending on the type of use (driving variant or still recliner) and consists of:

Motorization

The motor configuration you require is included. The desired type of use, the driving area and your Berth determine the motorization. You can order a floating 30 Basic with a gasoline-powered 40 HP outboard or, as an option, two 4 kW Torqeedo electric motors. We would be happy to discuss the options with you. The 40 hp engine has proved its worth. This allows you to reach a comfortable speed of 10 km/h and good manoeuvrability. In conjunction with a bow and, if required, a star thruster, you are ready for relaxed water hiking. You can also order the floating as a still bed without an engine package and equip it yourself with the necessary components. If you do not want to travel with your floating 30 Basic, your Berth must be approved.

You can choose from 3 variants:

Pre-equip the driving package, we equip the floating 30 Basic with the structurally necessary principles for motorization. We install the following components at the factory, which can only be retrofitted later with considerable effort: motor holder (choose electric or petrol), headlights pre-equipment, driving position with hydraulic preparation (empty tube under the cabin from bow to engine), bow thruster shaft in the pontoon.

Deliver an engine package, we will equip your floating ready to go with various engines of your choice. A test drive will take place upon handover. The driving package consists of the following components: petrol-powered 40 hp outboard, 75 kgf bow rudder with 130 Ah AGM battery, cabling, 120 liter gas tank. On request, we will be happy to offer you any additional maritime technology you require, such as navigation, larger tanks, additional drinking water tanks, etc., separately.
