Who has never dreamed of being able to get a change of breath at any time? Thanks to its drive motor and dimensions, the houseboat offers freedom and mobility. It is possible to travel with home and move a restaurant or art gallery from one city to another. Depending on the project, customers can decide whether the floating structure is motorized or not; however, it always remains mobile.
Living on water doesn't necessarily mean sacrificing a comfortable and easy lifestyle. In fact, Boat is committed to offering an optimal level of comfort and wants to differentiate itself from dark and narrow barges through brightness, wide spaces and increased stability. This new generation of houseboats features a simple and modern design, high-quality furniture and equipment, and cutting-edge technology.
This boat proves that comfort and beauty can be combined with sustainable solutions that provide answers to current environmental problems: recyclable materials, solar panels, water-based ship heating and air conditioning, a pellet stove, high-density insulation, energy-saving household appliances, a purification system that keeps waterways clean, and watermakers that supply drinkable water.
To ensure maximum self-sufficiency, 1.5 tons of batteries are stored in the floats and supply the boat with energy. They can be charged by solar panels, shore power connections or by the 18 kW generator. In addition, the installation of a wastewater treatment plant and a water purification system is possible as an option, while allowing comfort, sustainability and independence.
Because every project is unique, Boat adapts to its clients' requirements by offering a standardized structure and customizable options, such as the size of the living space and terrace area, the motorization of the boat, the level of equipment and furnishing, and the degree of self-sufficiency in terms of energy and water. This aspect also enables a variety of concepts that differ from living: why not a floating bar or floating offices?

In the past, houseboat financing was difficult because, in contrast to construction financing, it did not offer a land register entry as collateral. However, the situation has improved steadily in recent years, not least due to growing demand. Through our partner comparison portal, you can now discover suitable offers at attractive conditions.
